I'm back. I love having high-speed internet again. Going home reminds me to count my blessings. Hehe. It's so nice to see everyone again! I had my first day of classes today, and it was ok. My linguistics professor reminds of Chris Kattan--he looks kind of like him. Except he has huge Harry Potter glasses and a strong Spanish accent. He also talks about linguistics as if it's science, which isn't that great. For example, he said: "Think of the subject as the nucleus of the sentence." Scary!! Is that supposed to make it clearer for me?!
My beginning painting class is tomorrow. Hope it's fun!
