So, the cat I've been fostering, Chet, has ringworm. Splendid. He has a pretty big patch of missing hair on his back, and the lady that runs the shelter told me it's ringworm. Which humans can get, if they're not already immune to it. Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers that I won't get it, and meanwhile, I have to rub oily medication into his bald spot for the next couple of weeks. And I can't take him to Petco to be adopted until his ringworm goes away. We'll see how this goes. I don't think my roommates will be very excited to know that my cat has a disease they can catch. I guess I'll just keep him in my room pretty much all the time now.
Anyway, speaking of cats, I was thinking how much cat stuff I own. It's crazy! Today, for example, I was wearing this cat shirt Leah got me from France, and then my purse has a cat on it, and my wallet is ChocoCat from Sanrio. And I have a cat calender, and a cat lamp, and cat drinking glasses. This is getting out of control! I really do love dogs as much as cats, I swear! But you'd never know it!

Ok, so. . .I guess you can forget what I said last week about not posting anymore; right now, I seem to be posting more than ever!
So I gave blood today, for my FIFTH time! I'm so proud of myself, because I really am afraid of needles. So I was all relaxed about it, because I've done it before so much, until I got to the chair where they stick the needle in your arm. The lady put the needle in me, and it hurt! And not just at first, like usual, but continuously this sharp pain in my arm. So I started freaking out a little, and thinking that maybe she didn't stick it in far enough or something and it was going to come out, but I didn't want to say anything. Finally, she asked me if it felt alright, and I was like, "Um, it kind of hurts." So of course she comes over to readjust it, and then I was just like, "Never mind!! It's ok!! Just leave it!" Because I didn't want her moving it around. But she did anyway, and it hurt even more. So then I just kind of stared at the ceiling the rest of the time and tried to think happy thoughts. The nurse noticed that I was kind of stressed out (she was this Russian (perhaps?) woman, named Lyundmila, which is an awesome name. But she wanted to make me feel better, so she gave me a purple bow on my bandage:
Which I have to admit, made everything totally worth it. And that is the end of my harrowing adventure. For today, that is!

Um...I don't know if anyone cares, but I think I'm going to take a break from posting for a while. No real reason, I just don't feel like doing it all the time. But I DO have one piece of news: I'm fostering a cat!! I'm just keeping him until I can find a home for him. He's grey, and really soft, and I named him Chet. His breath really smells, and he could use another bath(I already gave him one, and he hated me for it), but that's really all I can think of that's bad about him. Now, for some pics.
This is Chet:
This is a pic of some weirdos I saw at a party:
And this is Cammy and her boyfriend Alex cooking for me at my apartment (they came to visit me for a few days)
I've had an exciting week! Now back to actual school work, for reals this time. Maybe.
